β’ Prepare and review SBA loan closing documents for compliance with SBA guidelines and lender requirements β’ Compile and organize loan application documents, such as financial statements, tax returns, and personal financial statements β’ Act as a primary contact for borrowers, lenders, and third parties throughout the loan process β’ Analyze borrower information and supporting documents to validate the loan's intended purpose β’ Manage the closing timeline by tracking loan status and following up with parties to ensure deadlines are met β’ Perform compliance checks, including CAIVRS and SAM.gov reports β’ Collaborate with underwriters to address pre-closing requirements β’ Maintain organized loan files for compliance purposes β’ Assist with post-closing procedures and identify process improvement opportunities β’ Serve as a resource and mentor for new team members
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business, finance, or related field or relevant work experience β’ Minimum 2-4 years of experience in SBA loan closing or commercial lending β’ In-depth knowledge of SBA 7(a) loan program guidelines and regulations (SOP 50 10) β’ Strong understanding of loan documentation, closing procedures, and legal terms β’ Experience with SBA loan processing software and document management systems preferred β’ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review β’ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, lenders, and third-party vendors β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment β’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues promptly
