• Provide pre-employment transition support services • Work closely with parents, teachers, developmental specialists, and community partners in Cache County • Identify student needs and interests • Assist in development and delivery of programs including marketing and workshops to engage students and community members in the career development process • Develop contacts with industry related employers through proactive relationship building • May create and deliver presentations, workshops • Record career development activity, case management notes, and participation data for short and long-term strategic planning • Manage tools and technologies in support of their students’ progress • Travel to multiple locations (i.e. counties with designated areas) with the use of a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement
• High School Diploma or GED • 1 to 2 years’ experience working with youth with disabilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • A positive attitude that is flexible and adaptable to a changing environment • Strong organizational skills, prompt follow-through • Valid Driver’s License (must be able to travel with the use of personal vehicle) with an acceptable driving record • Must successfully pass a background check.
