• Support health policy-related research projects conducted by investigators at LDI and the Division of General Internal Medicine. • Use SAS and/or STATA programming skills to create analytical datasets from clinical trials, surveys, and health care claims. • Construct and standardize outcome measures and other analytical variables through data cleaning and manipulation. • Provide descriptive and analytical reports and perform specialized statistical analyses. • Statistical Analyst B will oversee complex databases and implement non-routine macros and advanced techniques to merge datasets and create analysis files.
• Statistical Analyst A: minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Math/Statistics, Healthcare Management, Economics, or Public Health and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Statistical Analyst B: minimum of a Master’s degree in Math/Statistics, Healthcare Management, Economics or Public Health and at least 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience in applying health services research methods through SAS or STATA programming is required. • Statistical programming skills are required (strong expert level for B). • Prior work experience in academic or research setting in health care is preferred. • Prior experience with analyzing clinical trials is preferred.
