• The Critical Care Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a board-certified and licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who provides advanced, comprehensive care to critically ill and medically complex patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). • Working both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, the APP utilizes critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and procedural expertise to deliver high-quality patient care. • This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage complex medical conditions in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a board-certified and licensed: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Physician Assistant/Associate (PA). • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a critical care setting as an NP, PA, or ICU RN is preferred. • Strong working knowledge of critical care medicine, including fluid resuscitation, vasopressor management, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation. • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to synthesize and analyze complex patient data. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team. • Proficiency in procedural skills relevant to critical care. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
