• Partners with the field sales and clinical teams • Promote and sell Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors, surgeons, nurses, and key opinion leaders. • Pursues leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize benefits • Identifies selling opportunities and works closely with sales representatives to increase sales • Provides clinical and technical support during cases and informs the clinician of patient treatment options. • Executes Company sales strategy and manages the sales process for the defined area. • Communicates benefits of Medtronic products to physicians. • Interfaces with hospital personnel to promote and sell Medtronic products. • Trains medical personnel in the use of Medtronic products. • Responds to inquiries and complaints. • Identifies target accounts and analyzes and reports on effectiveness of sales techniques. • Projects professional company image and represents the Company at medical symposia. • Requires on-call nights and weekends 20-40% of the time.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years experience* OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years experience* OR Bachelor’s Degree • Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences. • 3 years in medical or hospital service-line function, medical sales • 1 year of Medtronic RTG (Pain, Brain or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep I experience with 2 years of prior clinical or medical sales experience. • Demonstrated experience in properly functioning within an office or hospital based operating room or cath lab setting. • Clinical experience in the interventional suite, hospital environment, or emergency medical response • Experience in medical device sales, focused heavily on interventional stroke procedures • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. • Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.
