📋 Description

• Collaborate with vendors to ensure all materials adhere to design vision and quality standards. • Review publisher-ready drafts to ensure all design outputs are error-free and consistent. • Support the creation, refinement, and finalization of design templates for K–5 instructional materials. • Translate instructional intents and pedagogical principles into effective design structures. • Develop visual frameworks for clarity, accessibility, and excellent user experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field required. • Three (3) years of experience working in product or graphic design, educational design or instructional product design experience a plus. • Strong graphic design skills with fluency in common design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or equivalent). • Solid understanding of lesson and unit design principles, ideally for grades K–5. • Experience designing for both digital and print formats. • Proven ability to meet deadlines, work within rapid production cycles, and manage multiple design tasks simultaneously. • High attention to detail, especially in reviewing and proofreading instructional materials. • Experience as a designer at a K–5 curriculum or publishing company preferred. • Familiarity with designing instructional templates, student-facing materials, or teacher guides preferred. • Strong understanding of accessibility considerations in educational design (optional but beneficial). • Experience collaborating with external production or design vendors.
