📋 Description
• Provide virtual overnight weekday call coverage by telephone for one or more partner hospitals • Responsibilities include remote psychiatric consultation, patient assessments, and treatment recommendations in collaboration with onsite clinical teams • Candidates should be comfortable managing risk, exercising sound clinical judgment, and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary staff
🎯 Requirements
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) • Active APRN license in Maryland with current CDS and DEA registrations • Prior experience providing psychiatric evaluation and treatment in inpatient or acute care settings is required • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with hospital-based clinical teams • Reliable access to phone service and a secure, private environment for confidential calls
