📋 Description
• Builds and develops referral contacts (customer referrals, realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts) to generate sales of residential mortgage loans and build a pipeline. • Assumes overall responsibility for the residential mortgage loan from application to closing. • Collects appropriate documentation from each applicant and enters 1003 application in LOS (Encompass). • Maintains knowledge of available loan products. Originates permanent single family (1-4), FHA, VA, USDA, JUMBO and conventional mortgage loan products (FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA, etc.)
🎯 Requirements
• One or more years of relevant self-generating mortgage loan experience • Contacts and referrals with local realtors, builders etc. • NMLS License • Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word) or other transferable software packages • Strong desire to excel in a competitive environment • Must register as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and maintain the unique identifying registration number
