📋 Description
• Responsible for the verification and collection of patient demographic and insurance information • Performs verification of insurance benefits and documents current coverage • Provides financial education and counseling to the patient • Acts as an expert resource for clinical areas regarding registration and financial counseling questions
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED - Required • Associate's Degree - Preferred • 2 years in a customer service role - Required • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Required • 3 - 5 years experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related medical field - Preferred • Medical Terminology coursework - Preferred
