đź“‹ Description
• Work across teams within the Leveraging our Lands program to collect, manage and maintain preserve-based infrastructure data and provide technical support in ArcGIS or other relational database technologies to Conservancy staff. • Coordinate with BU staff to gather existing data and collect new infrastructure data at a selection of preserves. • Perform data analysis; design and produce advanced complex queries and professional reports, process spatial and other relational data sets. • Provide hardware/software support. • Develop and deliver training to staff individually and in groups, produce maps and other graphic products and reports. • Develop and maintain GIS library and/or database products library, and compile, assemble, and maintain land protection, biodiversity, and management information from various sources.
🎯 Requirements
• MS or BS degree and certification in related field and 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience managing, maintaining, and populating databases and manual files. • Experience with interpretation of image analysis, complex spatial analysis, data modeling and landscape scenario analysis. • Experience managing multiple projects. • Experience operating GIS software, analyzing data, and producing data reports and creating maps. • Experience interpreting results then developing and delivering training (if required) to practitioners. • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Web Browsers. • Knowledge of accessibility laws and best practices and the Principals for Equitable Conservation is desired.
