• Independently represent and promote the manufacturer’s products within an assigned territory • Develop and manage professional relationships with architects, contractors, developers, property owners, and other key decision-makers • Identify, pursue, and support project opportunities to meet mutually agreed-upon annual sales and specification objectives • Prospect for and secure new accounts to expand market presence and grow revenue opportunities • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities at your discretion to support business development efforts • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using the manufacturer’s CRM or reporting tools • Provide periodic updates on sales activity, pipeline status, and market feedback to support collaboration and forecasting
• 10+ years of experience in business development or as sales agent within the construction or building materials industry • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials procurement, and sustainable building practices • Familiarity with sustainable building technologies, LEED, or similar frameworks • Proven ability to drive specifications and revenue growth and close large-scale deals • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
