📋 Description
• Improve overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation • Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation through interaction with medical staff • Educate patient care team members on documentation • Conduct on-going follow-up reviews for documentation compliance • Collaborate with coding staff to assign working DRG
🎯 Requirements
• Current RN Licensure in the State of Georgia • Associate's Degree • Five (5) years in the practice of professional nursing • CCDS or CDIP preferred • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred • Experience in Healthcare Utilization and Revenue Management preferred • Familiar with ICD10 coding conventions, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology • Knowledge of DRG coding optimization strategies and clinical documentation requirements
