• Provide engineering support for Data Discovery, DLP, and Data Classification systems which include implementing detection rules, reducing false positive detections, deploying and maintaining tools. • Analyze Data Discovery, DLP, and Data Classification events and formulate metrics to indicate areas of concern. • Coordinate with business units to gather business requirements such as unique sensitive data patterns, whitelist of authorized entities, and establish controls with least business impacts. • Building reports/automations to address key business concerns on data protection issues • Assist in addressing Data Protection control audits.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Data Security and/or Data Governance • Varonis SaaS engineering and analysis experience is a must • Microsoft Purview, Netskope or other DLP engineering and analysis experience • Microsoft Purview Information Protection engineering and analysis experience • Familiar with Keyword, Regex, Exact Data Matching (EDM) methodology for policy development • Power BI/Tableau experience is a plus • Business Relationship Management experience • General knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS standards
