📋 Description

• Manage a variety of environmental compliance projects including Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plans; Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans; Hazardous Waste Stream Determinations; Solid Waste and Hazardous Waste Management Plans; Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act Reports. • Assuming Project Management responsibilities including being the senior technical lead, working with a project team to manage risk, meeting project profitability goals, and managing both the internal team performance and client expectations. • Responsible for estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of company standards. • Coordinates the day-to-day operations of technical staff assigned to projects by assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, directing efforts and providing technical guidance. • Conduct field work at client sites to collect data and conduct meetings and trainings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Engineering or Environmental Studies; Advanced Degree preferred • 10+ years of related experience, including internships and/or related scientific/field of study experience • Knowledge of computer aided software (Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, etc.) • General knowledge of environmental compliance and/or environmental engineering principles • Knowledgeable of regulatory standards in an environmental technical area • Ability to complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification with the 40-hour HAZWOPER environmental health and safety class, and annual 8-hour refresher class • OSHA 30-hour training preferred • Ability to meet Level 2 Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) training requirements per EM 385-1-1 preferred • Ability to travel (<35%)
