📋 Description

• Execute the monthly close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account analyses, and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Oversee daily and monthly cash accounting activities, including reconciliation of bank accounts, and ensuring accurate cash reporting • Provide financial reporting oversight related to AP activities, ensuring accurate expense recognition, proper cutoff, and completeness of liabilities • Deliver comprehensive balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis, providing actionable insights to senior leadership • Manage special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analysis to meet business and leadership needs • Serve as a key business partner to field operations and Finance Business Partners, offering guidance on accounting matters and driving informed decision-making • Maintain and continuously enhance accounting policies, procedures, and standard work documentation to improve consistency and compliance • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives, driving efficiencies through automation, standardization, and best practices implementation • Interface with WHQ, Outsource Providers and Regional Offices • Support controls and Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance, as well as PwC testing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree: Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills • Must enjoy working in a team environment, be able to multi-task, and possess a solid work ethic • Self-starter who takes ownership and initiative • Must be able to work additional hours as required due to time-sensitive deadlines • Advanced skills in Excel • JD Edwards experience a plus
