• Gather, analyze, and refine business and technical requirements, translating needs into detailed functional and technical specifications. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define solution approaches, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog priorities. • Perform data analysis and validation using SQL to support requirements, troubleshoot issues, and confirm system behavior. • Support system integrations by documenting data mappings, system-to-system flows, and API or interface requirements. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness activities. • Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case creation, execution coordination, and defect validation. • Serve as a technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including participating in discovery sessions or solution reviews when needed. • Analyze post-release results to validate data accuracy, system performance, and fulfillment of requirements. • Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, audit, and data governance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PHI/PII). • Maintain clear, well-structured documentation including requirements, specifications, data mappings, process flows, and user guides.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role with increasing technical responsibility. • Experience supporting Agile teams and delivering requirements in iterative development environments. • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including joins, data validation, and troubleshooting across complex datasets. • Experience working with system integrations, APIs, or data flows across enterprise systems. • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira for backlog management and requirements tracking. • Experience documenting technical requirements, data mappings, and system behavior with a high level of accuracy and detail. • Experience in healthcare, PBM, claims processing, or other regulated industries. • Familiarity with cloud-based environments and modern application architectures (e.g., AWS, microservices concepts). • Strong understanding of compliance considerations including HIPAA, PHI/PII handling, and audit-driven requirements.
