📋 Description

• Ensure all client underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities comply with current standards through field inspections and verification of contractor work. • Perform audits, inspections, and pole transfers; document findings electronically and, when needed, manually using printed spreadsheets. • Utilize mapping/GPS technology to locate and verify plant infrastructure. • Communicate effectively via email and cellular phone with client and vendor management. • Interface with construction crews, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met. • Travel to field sites as needed; some overnight stays required. • Maintain records of all inspections, audits, and corrective actions performed. • Mileage will be reimbursed for travel in accordance with company policy.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience performing NESC inspections or working on an aerial cable line crew. • Experience conducting wooden pole ground line inspections. • Proficiency in OSP Construction Standards and working knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC). • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products. • Familiarity with mapping tools such as Microsoft MapPoint (preferred, not required). • Comfortable with internet use and web-based applications. • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. • Experience in managing construction contractors in the field. • Possession of a valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel on short notice.
