📋 Description

• Lead research to understand customer segments, workflows, unmet needs, and decision drivers. • Analyze market dynamics, competitive offerings, and emerging applications in RNA-seq and related assays. • Translate customer insight into clear product requirements and prioritization frameworks. • Serve as the internal voice of the transcriptomics customer. • Define and evolve the roadmap for the Transcriptomics portfolio. • Manage products from concept and validation through launch and iteration. • Identify and develop novel RNA-seq-based applications to advance scientific research. • Build business cases that align technical feasibility, operational capability, and commercial opportunity. • Ensure cross-functional alignment on roadmap priorities. • Lead pricing and positioning strategies. • Collaborate with Marketing to develop Go-to-Market strategy, define product messaging, execute promotional activities, and enable Revenue teams. • Track adoption, customer feedback, and performance metrics to guide iteration. • Help evolve product management frameworks, documentation standards, and cross-functional processes. • Improve roadmap visibility and execution rigor across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience launching products or services that deliver clear customer value. • Demonstrated ownership of full product lifecycle management, from sample preparation through data delivery. • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority. • Deep understanding of the sequencing market, key customer segments, and RNA-seq applications. • Technical familiarity with short-read sequencing platforms, library preparation, and transcriptomic data analysis. • Familiarity with tissue culture workflows and cell biology assays. Hands-on research experience with cultured cell models (e.g. tumor cell lines or iPSCs) is highly desirable. • Advanced degree in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, bioengineering, or related field (PhD preferred).
