Power to Decide is a national nonprofit organization that advances reproductive well-being and expands access to contraception and abortion care through policy advocacy, public education, research, and digital tools. The organization operates programs and platforms (e. g. , Bedsider, AbortionFinder), produces data and training for providers, and works on federal and state policy initiatives to improve sexual and reproductive health outcomes. It also mobilizes supporters and donors to defend and expand reproductive rights.

📋 Description

• Reporting to the Art Director, supports the creation of engaging, audience-centered digital content across Bedsider, AbortionFinder, and Power to Decide platforms • Create content that feels native to today’s internet culture while supporting mission-driven storytelling across social, digital, and organizational channels • Collaborate across multiple teams to help produce compelling videos, graphics, and digital experiences that resonate with young audiences • Edit videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and related platforms • Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, overlays, and audio elements to enhance storytelling and accessibility • Repurpose existing content into engaging social-first video formats • Support rapid-response and trend-responsive content creation when appropriate • Assist with video asset organization and production workflows • Design social graphics, video templates, carousel assets, stories, campaign visuals, and lightweight marketing materials • Create content aligned with evolving platform trends, creator behaviors, and internet culture • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on visual needs as organizational priorities evolve

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing, design, social media, creative production, content creation, or related work • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and digital culture • Demonstrated visual storytelling ability through professional, freelance, academic, creator, volunteer, or personal projects • Experience with creative tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms • Strong visual instincts and understanding of pacing, storytelling, and platform-native content • Comfortable adapting creative work across multiple brands, audiences, and communication formats • Highly organized, collaborative, and self-directed in a fast-paced remote environment • Proactive, curious, and excited to experiment creatively • Interest in reproductive health, social impact storytelling, or digital advocacy preferred • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft, and Monday.com • Able to travel 2–3 times per year
