📋 Description

• Manage full-cycle accounting for six related entities • Maintain accurate general ledgers using accrual-based accounting • Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes • Ensure consistency across entities with shared vendors and cost structures • Oversee all bill pay processes across entities • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely payments • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities • Provide weekly AR reporting to CEO • Track collections and aging reports • Work closely with operations to improve revenue cycle efficiency • Process payroll for ~10 full-time employees using Gusto • Manage payments for ~10 independent contractors • Ensure payroll tax compliance across multiple states • Ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations • Coordinate with external CPAs for tax filings and audits • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls • Provide weekly AP and AR updates to CEO • Assist in developing financial dashboards and KPIs • Support strategic decision-making with financial insights • Help build scalable accounting processes as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5+ years of accounting experience (Controller or Senior Accountant level preferred) • Strong experience with accrual-based accounting , P&L, and balance sheets • Experience managing multiple entities simultaneously • Payroll experience (preferably with Gusto or similar platform) • Experience with multi-state tax compliance • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
