📋 Description

• Support agents/brokers with placing General Liability insurance coverage. • Evaluate and analyze risks for acceptability based on underwriting guidelines and individual risk characteristics. • Manage a profitable book of General Liability business including review of new business, renewal business, and mid-term endorsements. • Execute on deliverables for quoting/binding business based on Service Level Commitments. • Operate within a defined authority statement. • Exercise sound underwriting judgement as it relates to pricing, forms, applications, deductibles, etc. • Work independently with limited support and sporadically refer business to SVP of underwriting. • Mentor/develop junior level underwriters.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years insurance underwriting experience in retail, wholesale, or insurance company space. • General Liability and/or Primary/Excess Liability experience. • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant industry designations/industry experience preferred.
