📋 Description

• Provide technical support to customers throughout the life of a machine • Provide advice and physical assistance to the customer in identifying problems associated with the operation of our equipment • Offer innovative solutions to make the customer’s operation function more efficiently and economically • On-site training of customers’ operators and technicians on set-up, operation, change-over and maintenance of the systems • Assemble component parts for the Aftermarket parts group • Engage in occasional machine rebuilds/upgrades • Research machine designs to identify non-standard parts • Respond to customers’ outreach for immediate service support • Prepare detailed trip reports for the customer and company • Prepare field time reports, expense receipts, and follow-up communication with customers • Development of machine operation manuals and troubleshooting guides • Participating in customer Factory Acceptance Tests

🎯 Requirements

• Associates Degree in related technical field or 8 years related work experience • 3+ years in custom machine manufacturing or mechanical repair/maintenance • Excellent knowledge of mechanical/electrical technical applications, specifically Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo driven motors and controls, stepper motors and controls, and pneumatic driven machinery • Ability to read and understand complex engineering designs, including wiring schematics • Packaging industry experience preferred • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Problem-solver with strong independent judgment skills • Track record of successfully multitasking to meet timelines on deliverables • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 85%
