• The Regulatory Accounting team delivers accurate financial information. • Perform moderately complex accounting and analysis functions. • Participate in daily and monthly accounting processes. • Ensure SOX procedures and controls are being complied with. • Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating procedures. • Collaborate with different business groups to prepare invoices. • Prepares moderately complex journal entries and reconcile accounts. • Evaluates and implements changes related to regulatory and GAAP compliance. • Prepares internal, external, and regulatory financial reports. • Complies with internal controls and actively update SOX 404 procedures. • May act as a subject matter expert.
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and/or experience • 2+ years of directly relevant accounting experience • Good understanding of GAAP and technical application • Good ability to effectively analyze and report on financial information • Strong verbal and written skills • Strong PC skills (including Excel, Word, Access)
