• engage in meaningful and strategic discussions to gather insights & share clinical information with assigned key thought leaders in the geography • conduct substantive business discussions related to on-label product information, disease state, and general corporate overviews • embrace a customer-centric, needs-based approach to drive strategic thought leader engagements • coordinate thought leader engagements for senior executives at local/regional/national conferences and/or during day-to-day business • develop/maintain list of key thought leaders in the assigned geography • assist with thought leader development • support speaker bureau buildout efforts • share insights gleaned from interactions with thought leaders with Marketing and other functional groups • support regional/national advisory board planning efforts
• bachelor's degree required • Master's degree or other advanced education/certification is a plus • minimum of 8 years of work experience in 2 or more of the following – Thought Leader Liaison role (previous or current), field sales, inline or regional brand marketing, relevant medical/clinical experience, experience in hematology/oncology markets strongly preferred • expertise in marketing strategies within the pharmaceutical industry • launch experience preferred • able to travel 60%-80% of time
