• Teach assigned graduate-level online courses in Epidemiology (e.g., Introduction to Epidemiology, Advanced Epidemiology, or related courses). • Maintain course quality through curriculum maintenance, innovation of course content, assessment of learning outcomes, and appropriate documentation. • Serve as a subject matter expert in epidemiology and assist with course writing, revision, or review to ensure academic rigor and currency. • Provide timely and meaningful feedback to students on assignments and assessments in accordance with faculty handbook standards. • Assign grades and maintain accurate course records within the institution’s Learning Management System (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, or Brightspace). • Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner (generally within 48 hours) using the university’s assigned email system. • Participate in adjunct faculty meetings, meetings with the program director, and professional development activities as requested. • Collaborate with program faculty and leadership to support student success and continuous improvement of the MPH curriculum. • Address academic concerns including academic integrity, grade disputes, or student performance issues in coordination with program leadership.
• PhD or DrPH in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology or closely related field (required). • MPH with a concentration in Epidemiology preferred. • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in epidemiology, public health research, or applied public health practice preferred. • Experience teaching at the university level, preferably in an online environment. • Demonstrated ability to teach graduate-level epidemiology courses preferred. • Experience with statistical and epidemiologic analysis software such as R, SAS, SPSS, or Stata. • Familiarity with online learning management systems such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Brightspace. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to engage diverse graduate students in an online learning environment. • Ability to interpret public health literature, scientific reports, and technical materials.
