📋 Description
• Proactively handle Personal Umbrella Liability claims • Emphasize detailed investigation, evaluation, and monitoring of primary carrier activities • Investigate and analyze complex coverage issues • Provide clear and detailed coverage letters as necessary • Conduct timely and comprehensive investigations into liability and damages • Focus on effective resolution strategies, including timely liability investigations, damage assessments, and reserve setting • Ensure adherence to RLI's Best Practices in all claims handling activities
🎯 Requirements
• Requires a bachelor’s degree • 8+ years of relevant legal or technical claims experience • Strong background in handling large exposure third-party liability claims on a primary/excess basis • Significant experience with policy limit demands in Florida, Texas, and California • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision • Proven ability to work effectively with primary carriers and defense counsel • In-depth knowledge of umbrella/excess handling and management of outside counsel • Extensive knowledge of case law, statutes, and procedures impacting liability claims in Florida, California, New York, and Texas
