📋 Description

• Lead and execute work associated with the development, financing, and execution of power generation projects • Develop consulting project execution plan to meet client’s needs • Review deliverables such as reports and studies • Lead project team by providing clear instruction including technical approaches • Manage hours and work performed to budget and scope • Develop staff expertise through training and mentoring • Prepare proposals for consulting project opportunities • Support multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring a high quality standard is met • Travel occasionally to visit project locations and client offices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering (other engineering disciplines or finance/economics may be considered) • 15 or more years of experience in the power industry • Owner’s engineer, independent engineer, and/or design engineer experience for development and execution of power generation • Experience managing teams of engineers • Experience and technical knowledge in multiple power generation technologies – solar, battery energy storage, wind, and thermal • Experience performing feasibility studies for power projects • Experience in long-term power supply and transmission planning projects is a plus • Experience in project finance or financial modeling of power projects is a plus • Experience with project contracts such as power purchase agreements, asset transfer agreements, and EPC contracts is a plus • Prior experience in a consulting role is a plus
