📋 Description

• Perform detailed admiralty claims investigation and analysis through examination of the loss • Document where and how injuries/damage occurred and understanding the nature and type of injuries or damage • Conduct onsite, photographic and inspection of documents provided to assess the cause of loss • Interview involved parties and document written and/or recorded statements • Generate detailed reports communicating with internal adjusters and outside clients • Run and interpret formal background checks related to claims • Handle medical claims from beginning to end and conduct detailed evaluations of long-term medical needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Private investigator license preferred (40-hour course) • 4+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Extensive knowledge of complex marine inspection and failure • Ability to read and interpret insurance policies • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products • Strong organizational skills • Proven management/leadership skills • Excellent negotiating skills
