• Lead or support Epic Behavioral Health deployment. • Translate behavioral health clinical workflows into Epic build specifications. • Configure system components such as: Behavioral health documentation templates, Intake and assessment workflows, Treatment planning, Safety plans, Group therapy documentation, Behavioral health-specific orders and flowsheets • Participate in integrated design sessions and workflow validation. • Partner with: Psychiatrists, Therapists, Social workers, Behavioral health nursing, Compliance and legal teams • Gather and document clinical and operational requirements. • Facilitate workflow design meetings and translate decisions into system build. • Develop and execute: Unit testing, Integrated testing, User acceptance testing (UAT) • Validate workflows such as: Behavioral health assessments, Suicide risk screenings, Intake documentation, Care planning, Medication management • Troubleshoot issues and document defects. • Support development of training materials for behavioral health workflows. • Assist with super user training and end-user education. • Provide at-the-elbow support during go-live. • Help monitor adoption and workflow issues post-go-live.
• Bachelor’s degree in: Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems or Behavioral Health–related field • 5 plus years of experience supporting an Epic implementation; with a strong focus around Behavioral Health and Ambulatory • Must be Ambulatory Certified • Strong knowledge of behavioral health clinical workflows • Experience gathering and translating business requirements • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
