📋 Description

• Supporting clinical Natural Language Understanding (NLU) system by maintaining and improving grammars, parsers, and terminologies • Extracting, manipulating, and analyzing textual data and annotations using Python and batch scripts • Determining solutions and priorities for NLU issues and enhancement requests • Implementing and testing solutions in coordination with clinical, technical, and business teams • Willingness to be on-call

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor or higher from an accredited institution AND three (3) years of experience in Computational Linguistics OR High School Diploma/GED AND a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in software development • Two (2) years of professional experience with grammars and parsing, corpus analysis • Two (2) years of professional experience with data annotation or medical coding and documentation • Experience with regular expressions • Four (4) years of experience in software development • Additional qualifications: Master’s degree in Linguistics or related field, Experience with Python, Proficiency with regular expressions, Experience handling/transforming different formats including HTML, XML, JSON, Experience with GitHub, Experience with Java, Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
