📋 Description

• Create and refine 3-4 libraries of curriculum universal instructional materials that translate partner curricula into research-aligned, meaningful learning experiences • Ensure 100% of literacy and math instructional products demonstrate clear vertical progression, alignment to math and literacy standards, and coherent instructional design across grades, subjects, and product experiences • Actively contribute to at least 4 cross-functional product development initiatives by incorporating stakeholder feedback, collaborating effectively through the co-development process, and meeting agreed-upon project milestones • Proactively implement 3 instructional improvements or product enhancements informed by implementation data, research, and emerging best practices to strengthen the quality, usability, and impact of instructional products • Design high-quality instructional products that translate Springboard’s instructional vision into engaging learning experiences for students, educators, and families • Use deep content knowledge in literacy and mathematics to develop research-based K–5 literacy and mathematics instructional products • Apply evidence-based instructional practices, academic standards, learning progressions, and assessment knowledge to ensure instructional integrity, coherence, and rigor • Develop instructional products that are intuitive, accessible, and designed for successful implementation across diverse partner contexts • Autonomously drive end-to-end project management and execution for multiple curriculum development initiatives • Support instructional product development from initial requests through final delivery, balancing priorities, timelines, quality, and implementation needs • Exercise sound instructional and design judgment to independently move work forward, anticipate risks, identify solutions, and maintain initiative • Design innovative instructional approaches and product features informed by the Universal Design for Learning and culturally responsive design principles that improve teaching, learning, and family engagement • Prototype, test, and refine innovative solutions that strengthen Springboard’s instructional portfolio and expand the impact of our products over time • Explore emerging research, instructional practices, and educational technologies to inform product innovation and continuous improvement • Collaborate across teams to build cohesive instructional products that meet educator and learner needs • Incorporate educator, student, family, and partner profiles and feedback to strengthen instructional products and improve usability • Contribute instructional expertise during collaborative design sessions, curriculum reviews, and iterative development cycles to strengthen instructional products • Continuously improve instructional products by using research and data to strengthen quality and impact • Analyze implementation data, educator feedback, assessment results, and user research to identify opportunities for product improvement • Evaluate instructional products for instructional quality, accessibility, coherence, alignment, and overall effectiveness • Recommend and implement improvements that enhance learner outcomes, educator experience, and long-term product sustainability.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience creating curricula for grades K-5 math and literacy • Proven track record of positively impacting family engagement in a K-12 educational setting • Experience working in ed-tech or the curriculum development space • It would also be nice if you had a Master’s degree in education • Experience working with large U.S. public school districts • Familiarity with project management methodologies (i.e. Agile or Waterfall frameworks) • Experience working as an elementary school classroom teacher and/or instructional coach.
