📋 Description

• Log in to optical transport equipment for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting • Provision, activate, and validate DWDM/SONET/OTN services and circuits • Work with NMS systems for topology, performance, and fault management • Perform detailed audits and tracing of end-to-end services/circuits • Execute network upgrades, migrations, and cutovers with minimal downtime • Create and update documentation for circuits, configurations, and migration plans • Collaborate with internal teams during maintenance windows and project deployments

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DWDM/SONET Network Engineering • Strong knowledge of DWDM, SONET/SDH, OTN, optical line systems, and transport technologies • Hands-on experience in provisioning, auditing, and migrating optical circuits • Familiarity with TL1, CLI, and multi-vendor network elements • Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
