📋 Description

• Inspects and tests fire alarm systems to ensure that they function effectively and meet the National File Protection Association (NFPA) standards. • Adjusts or repairs malfunctioning systems. • Responsible for the completion of service requests at various locations. • Schedules fire alarm and fire sprinkler system inspections. • Performs on-site inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair and installation of fire suppression systems (e.g. water, clean agents, and chemical). • Runs testing and inspection on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. • Coordinates with the local fire department to avoid response to testing. • Completes repairs of the fire alarm system and/or the suppression system. • Reports results of testing and inspection in line with the requirements of appropriate authorities.

🎯 Requirements

• Water-Based NICET II Certification or Willing to Obtain Required • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience • Five years' experience • Constant standing and walking • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. • Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more). • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
