📋 Description

• Meets with clients to review industry trends and guide discussions to develop client and project specific basis of design • Develop system designs for Audio Visual systems under minimal supervision • Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines • Prepares and manages project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work • Follows quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer • Performs QA/QC reviews for junior team members • Participates in engineering/professional community for knowledge and professional growth • Supports project manager in maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of engineering practices within the Audio Visual discipline • Extensive knowledge of commonly used and accepted design and construction concepts, practices, procedures • Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and specifications, technical procedures, and government regulations • Proficient in applicable software (i.e. REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam) • Knowledge of ASIS standards and best practices • Background experience in Mission Critical Facilities • Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required • AVIXA CTS-D certification is desired • 7-10 years related industry experience preferred
