• Support all project phases (pre-design, design, construction, closeout) • Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings • Ensure compliance with VA standards and applicable codes • Evaluate power distribution, emergency power, and critical systems • Review construction activities for compliance • Identify deficiencies and non-conforming work • Support RFIs, submittals, and change orders • Conduct site inspections • Track deficiencies and ensure resolution • Support testing and commissioning • Support project scheduling efforts • Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders • Assist in resolving technical issues impacting delivery • Maintain project documentation • Support reports and technical evaluations • Provide input to leadership and contracting teams • Evaluate construction impacts on medical operations • Identify risks related to power systems and infrastructure • Support phasing strategies to maintain patient care
• U.S. Citizenship (required) • Ability to obtain VA PIV badge / pass background investigation • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) • 5–10 years of relevant experience • Active **Professional Engineer (PE) license** • Experience supporting commercial, healthcare, or federal projects
