📋 Description

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business objectives and document detailed business requirements. • Analyze and document current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. • Develop comprehensive business cases outlining costs, benefits, and risks of proposed solutions. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including IT, operations, and management) to ensure alignment of business and technology solutions. • Create functional specifications and user stories, ensuring they are clear, complete, and feasible for implementation. • Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes and enhancements to existing systems and processes. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts and team members as needed. • Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and are fit for purpose. • Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for end users as necessary. • Defines and documents business processes involving current and future states. • Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical team, consultants and other governmental organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of solutions. • Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through the use of technology and/or through business process changes; • Reads and interprets technical literature and translates in terms understandable to the end-users or non-technical staff. • Plans, organizes and conducts business process re-engineering/improvement projects and/or management reviews of programs. • Consolidates information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other written form for use in management decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Commerce or an equivalent field • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a business analyst • Minimum of five (5) years of experience documenting/conducting process analysis and re-engineering • Minimum of five (5) years of experience writing requirements, use cases and user stories • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in working on projects in agile environment • Must possess strong political acumen • Must possess strong critical thinking skills • Most possess high level of communications, consulting, and client relationship skills. • Must be capable of effectively identifying and framing problems, leading the collection of elements of information, and integrating this information to produce timely and thoughtful decisions.
