📋 Description

• Contributes to Child Care Aware® of America’s research projects to analyze and benchmark state child care standards. • Participates in data collection and analysis, utilizing multiple research methods as needed (e.g., surveys, questionnaires, case study methods, interviews, etc.) • Communicates and translates data into research products that are easily understood and digested by system leaders, policymakers and CCAoA partners. • Maintains data and associated databases for key research reports. • Develops and maintains relationships with external stakeholders, particularly those who provide data for CCAoA analyses, regularly interfacing with them regarding research requests. • Partners with colleagues and other CCAoA units to execute projects in support of Research Team goals. • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. • Minimum 3 years of experience in child care policy, licensing, QRIS, research, program evaluation, or a related field. • Experience with quantitative and qualitative social science research, including, but not limited to developing surveys and analyzing extant and original datasets. • Proficiency using Excel is required. • Documented strong attention to detail. • Able to perform work with accuracy and minimal revision. • Competency in analyzing and synthesizing information quickly and accurately. • Excellent project management and planning skills with the ability to keep work on track with minimal supervision, under tight deadlines. • Demonstrated skill in collaborating clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
