📋 Description

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and manage a small, agile team of software engineers. • DBT Testing & Quality Gates: Architect and implement a comprehensive testing suite within DBT. • Deep Data Analysis & Profiling: Perform exhaustive data profiling and deep-dive analyses using SQL and Python. • Product Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with Product Managers to develop and prioritize product backlog. • Modern Data Stack & Observability: Architect and implement observability frameworks using BigQuery, DBT, Elementary, and Grafana. • AI-Driven Development: Champion the use of AI productivity tools to streamline development.

🎯 Requirements

• Technical Proficiency: Expert in modern data engineering stack, specifically DBT, SQL, and Python. • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading or mentoring a small team of engineers. • Observability & AI Savvy: Hands-on experience with observability tools (e.g., Elementary, Grafana). • Domain Expertise: Strong background in healthcare and NGS data. • Analytical Powerhouse: Use data profiling and correlation analysis to solve data integrity problems. • Communication: Ability to translate technical data quality gaps into actionable insights.
