• This position requires a presence in New York • We’re looking for someone who’s able to develop and scale a sales team, and someone who can understand the power of our audience for both endemic and non-endemic advertisers. The ideal candidate will have an established record of sales leadership and revenue generation as well as a deep interest and passion for online and print media. This is a management position that oversees a growing team and reports to the Chief Sales Officer. • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team • Facilitate sales of integrated advertising packages across TRD’s suite of print and digital ad products + events • Track sales activity through the company’s CRM system (HubSpot) and ensure activity goals are met • Mentor team on sales practices and product knowledge • Assist in the recruitment of new sales representatives and train new team members • Set expectations with the Executive team through timely and accurate forecasting, pipeline, and sales activity reporting • Implement a strategic sales plan with each member of the sales team
• You have 5+ years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of success • You have a deep understanding of the print and digital advertising landscape • You are an effective communicator who can inspire others to achieve their best • You are motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, energetic, and able to thrive in a high growth organization • Prior agency and brand direct relationships is a plus • Media and/or real estate experience is a plus.
