πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Directly manage, coach, and develop Regional Sales representatives through regular one-on-ones, team meetings, and performance reviews. β€’ Set clear expectations for sales activity, behaviors, and results across the regional sales team. β€’ Provide timely, constructive feedback, and address performance issues with a balance of empathy and accountability. β€’ Identify skill gaps and partner with Sales Leadership to implement targeted training and development initiatives. β€’ Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative sales culture across a geographically distributed team. β€’ Apply experience in commercial vehicles, truck equipment, or related industries to guide sales execution and team coaching. β€’ Partner with the Director of Sales to establish sales goals, quotas, and priorities for regional teams. β€’ Monitor pipeline health, sales activity, and performance trends; proactively identify and address risks. β€’ Support Regional Sales representatives in navigating distributor relationships, customer dynamics, and complex sales opportunities. β€’ Represent Tommy Gate at distributor meetings, open houses, and regional or national industry events.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience β€’ Prior experience managing and developing sales professionals, preferably in a regional or distributed sales environment β€’ Experience in outside sales within commercial vehicles, truck equipment, or related industries preferred β€’ Computer skills required: Order Processing Systems, MS 365 Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), CRM Software
