📋 Description

• Conducting environmental due diligence work on telecommunications and commercial real estate projects • Phase I and II ESA responsibilities include conducting site visits of wireless communications facilities and commercial properties • Reviewing historical records, environmental and regulatory databases • Drafting a standardized report in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21 (AAI) • NEPA responsibilities include conducting site visits of proposed wireless communications facilities • Conducting preliminary screening of listed and/or proposed threatened or endangered species • Prepare a template NEPA report • Conduct migratory bird evaluations and necessary permitting with state/local agencies • Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site (2-4 days per week) • Conduct interviews, analyze government database records, perform regulatory agency file reviews; reviewing historical data • Performing QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients and completing requested revisions & submitting report within pre-established timelines • Conduct field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air

🎯 Requirements

• 0-2 years of field experience conducting environmental due diligence work • Attention to detail • Strong work ethic • Valid driver's license • Ability to use Personal Vehicle for travel • Ability to conduct field work • Ability and willingness to travel (75% travel, 25% office) • Good computer skills • Independent worker • Commitment to excellence • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Phase I Assessments (ASTM E1527) • Phase II Assessments (ASTM E1903) • Preferred Qualifications / Experience: NEPA/Section 106 Assessments • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification • Mold assessment/indoor air quality (IAQ) experience • Licensed Asbestos/Lead-based paint Inspector • Transaction Screen Assessments (ASTM E1528) • Property Condition Assessments (ASTM E2018) • Record Search with Risk Assessments (SBA SOP 50 10 6) • Environmental Professional (EP) • Wetland Delineations • Working knowledge of the nesting cycle and behaviors of common raptor species • Experience using binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras • Experience with “digiscoping” techniques • Avian surveys • Regulatory agency permitting
