📋 Description
• Register patients and schedule appointments and surgeries • Verify demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information • Accepts point of service payments and provides payment estimates • Educate patients/families on registration kiosks or online systems • Identify routine issues and escalate to Lead Patient Access Concierge
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma • Associate degree preferred • One to three (1-3) years experience in a hospital or clinic environment • Knowledge of insurance and governmental programs, regulations and billing processes • Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and medical record coding • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Data entry skills and organizational abilities • Superior interpersonal skills
