📋 Description

• The Transfer Credit Evaluator is responsible for the comprehensive evaluation of transfer coursework and non-traditional learning credits for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. • This position supports student success by ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent transfer credit decisions that align with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and degree requirements. • The evaluator reviews academic records from domestic and international institutions, determines transferability and equivalency of coursework, maintains articulation data, and serves as a subject matter expert on transfer credit policies and procedures. • This role collaborates closely with Admissions, Registrar, Academic Affairs, Student Success, and faculty to facilitate efficient transfer credit processing and support enrollment and retention initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. • Three or more years of professional experience in higher education, preferably in registrar services, admissions, transfer credit evaluation, academic advising, or student records. • Experience interpreting academic records, curricula, policies, and degree requirements. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. • Proficiency with student information systems, database applications, and Microsoft Office products. • Preferred Qualifications: Experience evaluating transfer credit and course equivalencies. • Knowledge of articulation agreements, transfer pathways, and prior learning assessment practices. • Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, Jenzabar, Banner, Colleague, or similar platforms. • Familiarity with accreditation standards and FERPA regulations. • Experience supporting online, graduate, and adult learner populations.
