• Administer adult recreational tennis leagues (USTA League) in Western Massachusetts communities to ensure successful coordination, delivery and retention of the program and its participants. • Coordinate and attend meetings (virtual or in person) with volunteer committees and team leads (captains), potential players, community members, teaching professionals, facilities, and other tennis providers to promote recreational adult league tennis. • Coordinate and communicate team registration information and assist with player registration. • Proactively communicate with facilities on facility availability to set and administer schedules in a timely manner while complying with Section and National deadlines. Create and publish quality schedules utilizing provided technology platforms. • Ensure compliance with local procedures and regulations when administering the program. • Familiarize and communicate local league information to participants accurately. • Act as point of contact for all customer service needs in relation to the programs. Resolve conflicts that may arise. Communicate any escalated issues to supervisor. • Communicate and confirm team participation in post-season play. • Monitor program platform to ensure compliance with local regulations and communicate and correct any violations in a timely manner. • Verify program and player eligibility, site availability, and compliance with organizational policies, procedures and regulations. • Utilize data and reports to assist in data informed decisions that further the success of the programs. • Coordinate new programs and initiatives that encourage participation growth within the program. • Assist interested players in getting connected to teams and facilitate new team generation when pockets of players of similar rating level and eligibility level exist. • Build relationships with partner providers and facilities that support the growth of tennis in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan and department goals. • Coordinate buy-in from partners, players, facilities and other key stakeholders in a way that drives program success and mission impact. • Assist in development of new programs to encourage unique and total participation growth. • Recruit new volunteer captains and provide appropriate support for captains and players. • Assist facilities and players to join the USTA League system, recruit players to become captains, and assist in forming teams. • Work collaboratively with Local League Coordinators and Section Staff. • Administer and coordinate opportunities for new and returning tennis players to participate in USTA League play.

Preference is given to candidates residing in Massachusetts, particularly Western Massachusetts. Must be able to travel and work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends. High School diploma or equivalent required. Proficient in Google Workspace, Monday.com, Excel preferred; Familiarity with TennisLink and understanding of tennis preferred. Ability to learn new software platforms. Familiarity with coordinating particular tasks and operations for on and off-site events.
