📋 Description

• Ensure that fund financial data remains accurate, current, and aligned across general ledger, bank activity, capital accounts, and internal systems • Perform daily reconciliation of client fund activity across the general ledger, bank accounts, capital accounts, and internal systems • Maintain reconciliation schedules, documentation, and audit trails • Partner with Fund Accountants to investigate reconciliation issues • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes from a controls perspective • Track recurring reconciliation issues and flag potential systemic or data-quality risks • Ensure discrepancies are identified and surfaced the same day they arise, maintaining confidence in customer-facing and internal data

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in accounting or reconciliation-focused roles • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with multi-source financial data • Ability to investigate discrepancies methodically and communicate findings clearly • Experience supporting close or audit-related processes • Comfort operating independently within a defined scope • Experience with venture capital or private equity funds (Nice to Have) • Familiarity with fund accounting or administration systems (Nice to Have) • Prior exposure to audit preparation or internal controls (Nice to Have)
