📋 Description

• Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits prior to appointments or procedures • Confirm deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and coverage limitations with insurance providers • Accurately enter and update patient insurance information in the EMR system • Identify and resolve discrepancies in insurance data to prevent billing issues • Communicate verification results clearly with internal teams (scheduling, billing, and clinical staff) • Prioritize and manage multiple verification requests while meeting deadlines • Ensure all processes comply with HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of verification activities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years experience in healthcare administration or a medical office setting • Proven experience in insurance verification and eligibility checks • Strong EMR/EHR data entry skills with a high level of accuracy (non-negotiable) • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple workflows efficiently • Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient data confidentiality • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
