• Lead all electrical engineering needs for the Electrify America operations team • Work directly with Electrify America equipment providers on electrical components • Provide dedicated support for field team and project architect in construction drawing reviews • Collaborate with Electrify America's lab team for testing and documentation • Design electrical sections of standard permitting sets for construction projects • Assist in the development and implementation of National Design Standards • Lead relationships with construction management firms, contractors and sub-contractors • Spearhead review of engineering and construction contracts • Provide critical technical input for engineering and construction vendors • Manage electrical design elements of utility coordination and create relationships with electric utilities • Act as technical expert for executives
• 7-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering • Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training (desired) • Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings • Interacting with contractors and customers using verbal and written communication • Creating product documentation and records • Preparing cost estimates for customers and other employees • Inspecting electrical components during and after product installation • Project Management skills • Analytical and conceptual thinking
