📋 Description

• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines that ingest and transform data from various sources, including web traffic, subscription platforms, and ad servers • Support data analysts with data requests and help answer questions about available datasets • Contribute to the development of data models that support reporting on content performance, user engagement, subscriber lifecycle, and advertising revenue • Help monitor pipeline performance and escalate data issues as they arise • Document data definitions, business logic, and pipeline processes to support team knowledge sharing • Write and run data quality tests with guidance from senior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar technical data role (internship or co‑op experience counts) • Solid foundational SQL skills and comfort working with structured and semi‑structured data • Familiarity with Python for data processing • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) • Exposure to cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) • Awareness of ETL/ELT tools or orchestration frameworks such as dbt, Airflow, or Prefect • Awareness of data privacy considerations • Basic understanding of relational data modeling concepts • Basic understanding of how data supports editorial, product, and business decisions in a media environment • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset • Eagerness to learn and grow within a supportive team environment
