• Oversees and leads the Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team. • Initiates the implementation, builds, and modifies of the application. • Collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access. • Supports junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues. • Serves as a primary support contact for application end‐users. • Initiates the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application. • Initiates all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design. • Performs the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow. • Initiates the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them. • Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies. • Works with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs. • Participates in on-call rotations and support and attend and participate in applicable committees. • Maintains regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings. • Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership. • Remains knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations. • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. • Provides oversight and leadership to Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team. • Initiates the implementation, build, and modification of the application. • Collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access. • Supports junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues. • Travels to the job site during go-lives, conferences, rounding, and/or senior leadership meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience • Epic Willow Inpatient Certification required • CPhT Certification • Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in healthcare or healthcare-related organization • At least 3 years of Epic build experience preferred. • Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills preferred • Clinical knowledge of how various medications should be ordered preferred • Familiarity with pharmacy workflows, including dispensing and clinical monitoring preferred • Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary. • Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office). • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. • Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others. • Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
