• Lead large-scale, cross-functional healthcare projects from concept to completion. • Develop and manage comprehensive project charters, integrated project plans, budgets, and resource strategies. • Ensure alignment with organizational strategy and compliance requirements. • Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed. • Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to ensure efficient project execution. • Serve as the primary liaison for executive sponsors and senior stakeholders. • Facilitate executive-level reporting and decision-making. • Manage complex stakeholder dynamics and drive consensus. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal (and external, when applicable) stakeholders. • Effectively communicate project progress and updates to key risks or issues on a regular basis. • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather and document requirements as well as drive and document decision-making. • Provide mentorship and direction to project managers, analysts, and other project-assigned cross-functional team members. • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture. • Resolve team conflicts and remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum. • Oversee program performance and risk management. • Define and manage project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. • Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effectiveness. • Allocate and manage resources across multiple projects, balancing priorities and capacity constraints. • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, project plans, CRAID logs (change requests, risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions), communication plans, and roadmaps. • Deliver executive-level reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes. • Develop and implement effective change management plans to support adoption and minimize disruption. • Lead initiatives involving EHR systems, digital health, or regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). • PMP certification is strongly desired; Agile/Scrum certification is a plus. • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry. • Experience with healthcare IT systems and regulatory projects (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH). • Proven success managing enterprise-level projects and programs. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planner, or Project Online, Monday.com, Jira, Rally, etc.). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
